Boston showed up to tell Trump 'Hands Off'

2 min read

Figured I would share my pictures from the Hands Off Boston protest. It's notable that it was a cool, rainy day and it was by far the biggest protest I have been to in Boston – though, relevant, I was not here for either the women's march or the counter-protest to the Nazi "free speech" rally in 2017.

Sorry these are huge.

I enjoy the juxtaposition between "the greatest commandment is LOVE" and "Trump = DICKtator."
I am curious if Philadelphia competed with Boston for American Revolution-themed signs.
At no point was I able to get a vantage point to get a view of anywhere near the whole crowd. But it was crowded.
These guys from the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians, with their "defend PBS & NPR" signs, were one of my favorite things -- because what you can't see is that they were standing on either side of a hole that someone could have broken an ankle in. They saw the hazard and they parked themselves there to keep people safe.
