If you're looking to run a campaign premised on being Normal People during a time when the other side is frothing about arresting book authors and purging the government of thoughtcrime, you couldn't do better much better than Kamala Harris did with the choice of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. A vice president who feeds kids, taught school and likes dogs? As the counter to J.D. Effing Vance?
